The government will in September begin biometric registration of public servants with an aim of getting rid of ghost workers.

Devolution Cabinet Secretary Ms Anne Waiguru has said the exercise will begin in Nairobi and be completed by October this year.

He noted that all public servants will be required to register at Huduma Centres.

The government has been losing millions to ghost workers monthly.
