Daniele Rugani, 25, has shown symptoms Coronavirus, the disease that has been spreading like a bushfire throughout Italy. In fact, Italy is one of the worst-hit countries by Coronavirus. At the moment of going to the air, more than 800 people had died in Italy from the Coronavirus, making it only second to the China mainland epicenter.

Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Italy in 2018 from Real Madrid after winning four Champions League trophies consecutively. But it seems his life there might be at risk after the news of his teammates contracting the deadly disease.

Consequently, all sports activities in Italy have been suspended until 3rd of April, and the country will be on a complete lockdown to contain the virus.

Rugani has made only seven appearances for his de went inside this season, and in most cases, he was unused by coach Maurizio Sarri on the bench. On Sunday, Daniele Rugani posted a picture on his social media celebrating Juventus’ win over Inter Milan with his teammates.

But, this only complicates the matter because it means the centre-back has been in contact with his teammates and therefore putting them at risk of contracting the virus as well. It also means the whole team (including coach Maurizio Sarri, Cristiano Ronaldo, Dybala, Aaron Ramsey, De Ligt, Higuain, Matuidi, and everyone else on the Turin side) will have to be quarantined for 14 days.

Inter Milan’s team and everyone else who has been in contact with Rugani will also face the quarantine. But, the families and close friends of the Juventus players will not be spared either as they will have to be locked to help contain the virus.

As measures to contain the disease take place, the Juventus UEFA Champions League match with Olympic Lyon will have to be postponed or called off completely.

Also, the Italian government has announced that it will close all shops except food stores and pharmacies to try and contain the disease. Further, there could be alternative options, which may include playoffs, declaring the winners as the table stands, or not having a champion for the 2019/20 Seri A season.

Italy has had more than 12,000 confirmed cases and 827 deaths from the Coronavirus, which is only seconds to mainland China.

Elsewhere, Arsenal will also have its playing schedule reviewed after the clubs players came into contact with Olympiakos manager who has tested for Coronavirus.

In the meantime, Kenyans and Africans at large continue to experience a grace period as extremely few cases have been reported about the virus.
